The Four Corners Sustainable Forests Partnership invites you to attend their 2004 Workshop. The 2004 Workshop is scheduled to be conducted in Springerville-Eagar, Arizona, commencing the afternoon of Wednesday, October 20, and concluding early afternoon of Friday, October 22.

The Springerville-Eagar area is an ideal spot to showcase multiple uses of small diameter material. Highlighting Thursday is a tour of project sites, which includes a biomass power plant, a glu-lam plant and a log home manufacturer.

In addition to the networking opportunities, the agenda will feature presentations on recent USFS stewardship contracts, recent studies into the economics of removing material from the forest, ideas for creating synergy with your community partners and improving material processing, to include drying techniques.

Your registration material will contain information permitting you to make accommodations at one of several fine motels in the area.

A modest Workshop fee will be charged, to cover the cost of meals during the three days.

Travel scholarships are available.
